Steering Currents is the story of a southern dance studio owner who, after betrayal by her closest friends and coworkers, is thrust on a path to rescue her business and find her new identity. Simultaneously, storms rage across the Gulf Coast leaving a swath of massive destruction. A detour leads her to the funeral of a stranger, a utopian community, its unconventional inhabitants and a solo adventure which would radically shift her course.
